A Slow Food Weekend

Join Alison Taafe for Slow Food weekends at Curlew Retreat. Go on excursion with Alison around the Granite Belt to gather local foods and wines, then be entertained and educated by Alison as you participate in her cooking school where you prepare Saturday night’s dinner and, on Sunday morning, brunch.


And of course, you get to eat the results -  all perfectly matched with local wines.

  6. Bulletgourmet four course dinner with complimentary Ballandean Estate wines on Saturday night

  7. Bulletfully cooked champagne Breakfast/Brunch including 2 hour cooking class with Alison Taafe (9-11 am Sunday morning)

  8. BulletAlison’s wine trail for her favourite Granite Belt wineries and self-guided itinerary for Sunday afternoon

Rates

The all-inclusive rate is $800 per person.


The weekend is suitable for groups for four people.


An additional night (Sunday night) at the retreat is available for $50 extra per person.

  About Alison Taafe

Alison Taafe is the author of the Fun, Fast and Fabulous Food cookbook.


She has cooked for american presidents, the Queen, movie stars and sporting heroes as part of her culinary career across the continents.


Alison trained at the prestigious Westminster Hotel School which boasts many other celebrity alumni including Jamie Oliver.


She is currently filming a new TV series with fellow celebrity chef Matthew McKenzie  of Jamie’s Kitchen Australia fame.
